Status Quo etc.  with a variety to choose from that I'll be updating from time to time as discs become available.

Picture discs are made in limited numbers when an artist releases a new album or single. They are made as collectable items and not meant to play as conventional

discs. Although they play ok, the vinyl used in picture discs is softer than mass produced black vinyl and marks easily if not cared for. All the discs I use for

framing are in excellent condition. Most of them are sought after and hard to find in this condition, and some of them date back to the 80's. 

 

As these discs are becoming more difficult to obtain, either by scarcity or rising

prices among collectors,  I can only offer these discs as I manage to acquire  

them.  Therefore, I only have one copy of each on offer for sale.  However, I will update the site on a regular basis, so keep  looking in...or e-mail me if you're

interested in a particular artist or disc.

 

All 7" discs are framed in black, with a black, white core mountboard to complement the artwork, a tracks label and a metal plaque engraved with the artists name and date of issue. (as shown above)  Please excuse my amateur attempt at photography....

The 12" are also framed in black, with a 3 cm frame and a black, white core mountboard, but do not have the track label. These have a larger, black, or silver plaque engraved with the artist's name and date of issue.  An example of this is shown under the "12 Discs" heading on the left of this page.

 

All 7", and most shaped picture discs, are displayed in 12" x 10" frames. Some shaped discs are framed in 12" x 16" to accommodate the design. The 12" are displayed in 20" x 16" and fitted with styrene/acrylic glass. Ideal if you wish to send them through the post as gifts to family and friends.

 

If you're stuck for ideas for Christmas / Birthday presents this year...then these would be perfect for rock music fans or disc art enthusiasts.

 

Although I favour heavy metal / rock artist picture discs...mostly because, in my opinion, they produced the most interesting artwork and design..I'm not a rock snob.

I'll gladly make a Madonna or Kylie picture disc for you at your request...or any artist / band that interests you, if available.

 

Hey...I'll even do a Demis Roussos one for ya..if I can find a big enuff frame.:)
